Amnesty International: "Greatest Worldwide Attack on Human Rights Since 1954"

Article (Voice of America)

In its annual assessment of global human rights, Amnesty International blames both terrorists and governments for perpetuating what it calls the most sustained attack on international humanitarian law seen in 50 years. The U.S. receives the most criticism due to the Abu Ghraib abuses.

We've said Abu Ghraib was wrong, want the offenders prosecuted to the fullest legal extent, and will continue to do so. Yet let us get this straight. Two million black folks have been slaughtered in Sudan since 1983, based on their race and religion. Racist genocide by Arabized Muslims, rape, slavery, getting moved off their land. Even the U.N. calls Sudan the world's worst humanitarian disaster. Yet Amnesty International rips into the U.S. the most in this so-called assessment? Utterly ridiculous -- and racist. Amnesty International must be held accountable for saying that the lives of 2 million dead black folks due to genocide hold less value than U.S. soldiers forcing Iraqi prisoners into humiliating poses. Like we've been saying, the murder of "niggers" -- especially those who are Christian -- don't matter to liberals unless it serves their true goal: anti-Americanism.

Express your outrage to Amnesty International. We just did and feel better!
