Commentary (Washington Post)
Mr. King says that whether Bill Cosby should've used the NAACP event to share his controversial observations about some black folks may be open to question. He asks: however, if not at the 'Brown vs. Board' 50th anniversary, then where or when? While 'Brown' opened many changes for the better, Mr. King argues that not all changes have been good. He faults Mr. Cosby for one thing: it's not just some low-income folks who ain't carrying their weight, but quite a few other folks too. Can't say we disagree there.
