Condi: "Muslim Terrorists Similar to KKK"

In a speech yesterday at Vanderbilt University, Dr. Condoleezza Rice said Muslim terrorists are driven by the same hatred that inspired Klansmen to bomb a church in 1963 in her hometown of Birmingham, Ala. She also challenged those who are skeptical about freedom in the Middle East, saying that folks said the same about the South, Russia, and Africa. Dr. Condi urged students to avoid the mistake of thinking some people do not "share your desire to live freely." Count us among the skeptics regarding the Middle East, but we may warm up to her stance.
