Michael Eric Dyson: "Bill Cosby is Waging War on Poor Blacks"

Today on NPR, ultra-liberal cultural critic Michael Eric Dyson further expands upon his "Bill Cosby is classist, elitist and rooted in generational warfare" critique of Cos's comments about some poor blacks. He says Mr. Cosby is ill-informed and hypocritical, lacks balance and an appreciation for youth culture, and should focus more on rich folks like the Enron and Tyco crew. A few of Mr. Dyson's points are valid, but overall he diverts attention from the truth behind Cos's main points.

Ironically, ultra-liberal cultural critic Cornel West backs Mr. Cosby's comments, joining Cos's sizeable black supporter flank. He says Cos speaks out of love and compassion, given his 4 decades of philanthropy.
