That Booker Rising Quiz: Are You A Black Conservative was ill-conceived at minimum; it is superficial and does not states the issues one dimensionally. Oppose Abortion, for example, is stated without the requisite, do (to retain the syntax) you oppose legislating against abortion. And gay rights is another because Americans don't have rights because they are gay, straight, white, black, old, young, but because they are Americans. Most groups which support "gay rights" have it wrong too. If the governments give perks to heterosexual couples, then the same for same sex couples; although it is not because they are gay or straight, but because they are Americans. Solution, either erase the perks for same sex couples, which I as a libertarian prefes, or give those perks in some way to same sex couples. School prayer, are you kidding? I have worked to get government out of our lives, to decrease its size, and you want it in the business of religion. You want the government to tell my kid to pray in school. The only elements in this superficial quiz that I can support are Little or no welfare state, Oppose gun control, Lower taxes if the middle class is included (if you tell me that the middle class has benefitted, you are not fit to be called either a thinking conservative or humane being.), and Are black. You need to read F. Hayek's Road To Serfdom. I am black, Jewish, and 65. I was on the Right when there were conservatives like George Schuylet, real, and didn't call themselves 'black' conservatives, just conservatives. Folk who claim they're conservative, and claim they are black conservatives, are members of a coon show. You divide yourself from the rest of us on the right.

saint satin stain makes a good point. Let's not try to add the word black to conservative. This perpetuates the long standing attitude that if a black person does something, they must be a tribute to their race because blacks aren't supposed to be able to think, work or do anything impressive outside of sports and entertainment. it should be no sur[prise when blacks stand out as intellectuals, public speakers, politicians, professors or even conservatives.
Run your blog and the material the way you see fit. And don't change anything. I wouldn't.
I believe Booker T. Washington was definitely onto something. We need a "Booker Rising".
There are pros and cons using "black" as a designation. I have thought about using it, I blog about theology, and there are times I feel it is overused.
You realize who your blogging audience is, you blog accordingly.

I would like to focus on three of these questions...
Believe blacks should assimilate more ...Why..??? Black people already assimilate too much that's why we have no large TV network , not enough Black owned businesses , cash strapped HBCUs, we need to unite and stop trying to please someone else that in the end doesn't want us to "move too fast"..
Believe racism poses little or no obstacles ...Racism is alive an well in this country...A good barometer is the number of unarmed Black people that are killed by white cops every year . That's an obstacle.
Support USA's hawkish foreign policy ...I support a strong defense but going to war over a series of lies is has nothing to do with "national security. And why do we give so much money to Isreal , who causes a lot of our problems..??
