Gee, I Wonder Why?

The Mulatto Advocate builds upon the "gun control = racism" meme that we and especially our sister site Crispus recently did. He argues that gun ownership is low in black neighborhoods - thus leaving law-abiding black masses defenseless against a tiny thug minority, who will always access guns - mainly because of state regulations on "Saturday Night Special" handguns.

"The law may not have been racist in theory, but in application, it has had a disproportionate impact on people of color. How many poor black inner city families do you know of who could afford a $600+ Walther or Glock? When faced with the choice of food or self defense, food will win every time. Problem is, they shouldn't have to make that choice."

This also carries up to far too many folks within the 76% black majority who ain't poor, as our NRA-member uncle discussed with us yesterday. And here in Chicago, handguns are unconstitutionally banned with a few exceptions.
