With his youth, charisma, and business savvy, the millionaire businessman is touted as the future of the Conservative Party, which has been in a rut of late due to its graying supporters. His addition means that Britain will have two black conservative politicians on the national scene (the other, Lord John Taylor, is in the House of Lords - an appointed body). This will expand the visibility of black conservatives in the U.K.
