The Washington Post reports that the FBI director's notes contradict Attorney General Alberto Gonzales' version of visiting former Attorney General John Ashcroft to discuss approving warrantless wiretapping program over the Justice Department objections. Angela Winters, a black moderate blogger, opines: "I feel like a kid in the back of the car on the way to the Wisconsin Dells yelling, 'Are we there yet?' How much more do we need to learn to justifying Gonzales either quitting or getting fired. I guess with everything we know, if it hasn't happened already, it never will. I just hope those Dems and Republicans who are against him don't let it die."
