Vick Is Guilty

Angela Winters discusses football star Michael Vick's plea deal for dogfighting. The black moderate blogger writes: "Guilty doesn't really have as good a ring to it if someone pleads guilty. Not as much as if they had been found guilty by jury. Oh well, whatever the case, Vick is going to jail probably for 18-36 months and if they can get him for racketeering, which is basically gambling, he'll be kicked out of the NFL forever. The NFL has a zero-tolerance gambling rule. He'll be banned. If there is no gambling charge, he'll probably be suspended even after he gets out of jail and his skills won't be any good anyway. The NFL is trying very hard to avoid the label that that NBA has, so they aren't going to want him back."

My response: When the charges first hit, I told relatives that Vick was f___d because he messed with dogs, aka white folks' best friend. When white women were protesting with their dogs, that really meant it was over for Vick.
