Ripclawe takes issue with how Mrs. Obama states that "in order to get things like universal health care and a revamped education system, then someone is going to have to give up a piece of their pie so that someone else can have more." The black conservative Republican blogger asserts that Mrs. Obama's view is typical liberalism: "That is the difference between liberals and everyone else. Liberals look at people getting their pie and demand those with more give those with less because it makes everyone equal. Smart people would get irritated and wonder why the hell don't you show them how to make their own or learn how to get more pieces of pie without being a beggar. But if they did do show them how to make their own pie, the liberals would be out of a job. My pie slice is small but I would be ashamed if I went around demand[ing] more slices from everyone else. Unfortunately, more Americans are happy to do just that because they lack that sense of shame."
