I Love Kakuro

Longtime readers know that I like to do sudoku. In the past few days, I have discovered another logic puzzle that I like: kakuro. The numbers in black are clues. The numbers in the upper right portion of the cell are across clues, while the numbers in the lower left portion of the cell are down clues. What you want to do is enter digits 1-9 in the blank cells so they add up to the numbered clues. You can't use a number more than once when adding stuff up to a clue.

According to Wikipedia, kakuro roughly means "addition cross" in Japanese. However, the game was originally created by Dell Magazines but popularized by the Japanese.

Kakuro provides more variety than sudoku, and you want to think about numerical combinations and use process of elimination to eliminate certain numbers as possibilities. It helps keep the mind sharp.
