VIDEO: Beyonce, "Halo"

According to Wikipedia, "Halo" was originally intended to be recorded by Leona Lewis. However, scheduling conflicts prohibited Ms. Lewis from doing so quickly enough and thus Beyonce got the song. Ms. Lewis's loss is Mrs. Carter's gain, because "Halo" - whose video was just released last week - will definitely be a #1 hit. You may remember actor Michael Ealy, who plays Beyonce's love interest in the video, from the movie "Barbershop":

As usual when it comes to Beyonce's music, this song had to grow on me. "Halo" is the only song from her I Am....Sasha Fierce CD that has grown on me though. She doesn't oversing on "Halo", as she tends to do. Jay-Z is upset that some blue-eyed Negro looks a lil' too comfy on top of his wife for his taste, and we all know Beyonce enjoyed shooting this video so she needs to quit fronting like it was hard acting for her. The Chicago Sun-Times recently reported that husband Jay-Z "blew a gasket" when he saw this video, and Beyonce had to smooth things over and said "it's just acting". Mrs. Carter must have some “no-kissing-in-videos” rule with Jay-Z, because I expected her and Mr. Ealy to kiss here?
