WTH?! President Obama: "America Is One Of The World's Largest Muslim Countries"

U.S. President Obama said a couple of months ago that America is not a Christian country. He took heat for that one. However, I agreed with him. We're secular. I've even defended Barry against relatives who are convinced that he is an "undercover Muslim" (exact words from one of my uncles). Then Barry runs off at the mouth with French TV, claiming that "if you actually took the number of Muslim Americans, we'd be one of the largest Muslim countries in the world". Eh? If we ain't a Christian nation then we sure as hell ain't a Muslim one!

PowerLine, a conservative Republican blog, responds to the statement: "President Obama's statement that the U.S. could be considered one of the largest Muslim countries in the world has caused some commentators to note just how low we rank in terms of Muslim population. For example, Noah Pollak lists dozens of countries with more Muslims than the U.S has. So Obama was incorrect to say 'one of the largest.' More fundamentally, I think, Obama was wrong to say 'Muslim countries.' The U.S. could have 23.5 million Muslims instead of the estimated 2.35 we actually are thought to have. That still would not make us a Muslim country, although it would place under great pressure to become one."

Sandra Rose, a British-born black conservative blogger living in Atlanta metro, writes: "Wow, I just learned something new today. I didn’t know that the U.S. was one of the largest Muslim countries in the world, did you? This is according to Barack Hussein Obama, who sat down for several interviews before leaving for his mission trip to the Middle East....By the way, expect much bowing and scraping and anti-Americanism from Obama while he’s in the Middle East."

Rosita, a black conservative Republican living in New York, tweets: "Dear Obama I a citizen of a Christian nation NOT an Islam nation. Maybe you should stay over there in Saudi Arabia."
