Bookeristas have critical words, in Obama-related posts:
Sandra Rose: "President Obama Refuses To Celebrate The Fall Of The Berlin Wall"
The conservative blogger in Atlanta metro, Ga., writes: "Some of you are old enough to remember then-president Ronald Reagan’s famous line 'Tear down this wall!' It was a challenge to Soviet leader Mikhail Gorbachev to destroy the Berlin Wall to symbolize increased freedom in Communist Germany. But Barack Obama has better things to do than to travel to Berlin to celebrate the 20 year anniversary of the fall of the Berlin Wall. That would cut into his court time with his man, Reggie Love. And it would leave precious little time for all those lavish parties he throws at the White House. Instead, Obama will hop on Air Force One and travel to Oslo, Norway to accept the Nobel [P]eace [P]rize that he has no business winning. In the meantime, Obama continues to stall and delay making a decision on U.S. Secretary of Defense Robert Gates’ request for more troops in Afghanistan. While Obama stalls, more American troops are dying daily in Afghanistan. Of course Obama can’t send more troops to fight a war AND accept a Nobel peace prize at the same time, can he? That would make him look too much like someone who has no business winning a peace prize in the first place."
Kenneth Durden: "Obamao T-Shirts"
The libertarian-conservative blogger writes: "Obamao t-shirts are selling big in Beijing. Hey, you wanted us to be 'loved' around the world. Do the Chinese know something that 50% of Americans seem to be missing? It seems the entrepreneurial spirit is more alive in China than America. They're becoming more capitalistic and we're headed in the opposite direction."
Robin Martin: "Do You Love Obama More Than You Love America's Sovereignty?"
Asks the conservative blogger: "Do you think that is a preposterous question? If this question were posed a few short months ago, I would have thought so -- but no more. What's worse is that unless one avails themselves to alternative media sources they would have no idea that 'We the People' of the United States of America are in great danger of surrendering our sovereignty to an international entity. The warm and fuzzy phrase which is hallowed throughout the halls of academia and echoed during convocation ceremonies routinely of 'global citizenship' is about to become a reality for the United States of America. As much as it pains me to go all 'Alex Jones' on you this is true. In December of 2009 at the United Nations Climate Summit in Copenhagen, there is a very strong probability that President Obama will sign a treaty that will trump the powers of the US Constitution, if the signed treaty is ratified by the Senate. Lord Christopher Monckton, former policy adviser to Margaret Thatcher. warned of the impending danger last week as he addressed the Free Market Institute at Bethel University..."
She continues: "So the questions du jour for Obama supporters and racism chasers (not necessarily the same) are -- Do you love Barack Obama more than you love America's sovereignty? Do you really want America to surrender it[s] economic prosperity to [T]hird [W]orld countries? Do you really believe that YOU owe a debt to poorer countries because you breathe? Right, the liberal lie is that CO2 (our very breath) creates green house gases which in turn cause global warming and millions are dying because of our greenhouse gas emission."
More: "So according to the liberal liars, the poor nations of the world are poor because of America's CO2 emissions. No. The truth is these nations are poor because of corruption, tyranny, socialism and the lack of wealth creation. The United Nation[s] wants to cut America down to size and our Nobel Peace Laureate POTUS is down for the cause."
