Booker Rising this morning received this email from some person who argues that this blog is a front for the Marxist / Democratic agenda LMAO:
You're just another apparatchik for the Marxist/Democrats. We're on to you people now! You people who "act" conservative, try to talk the "game"; you don't fool us anymore. You never criticize Democrats, mainly progressive communists…nope…you just attack conservatives while at the same time claim to be conservative. You are either a total fraud and liar (my view), or at best, unhelpful; Either way I look at it, you are disqualified as a man of principle.

Booker Rising response (which was sent to Jeff): Clearly you aren't a regular reader of my blog to make such a silly claim. My blog regularly (nearly every day) highlights posts from people who criticize President Obama, his policies, the Democratic Party, liberals, and so forth. However, if you expect Booker Rising to not criticize conservatives or Republicans when they're in the wrong, then my blog isn't for you. It's doubtful that you're in my target market anyway. P.S. I am a female, so by definition I can't be "a man of principle"...
Jeff responds: Of course I am not in your "target market"; I am not black. You couldn't give a rip about me or anyone else not of color. What does it even mean to be a moderate anyway? Who do you look to, historically, for moderate philosophy? Is there such a thing? Name one great moderate in U.S. history. They don't exist, because great men do great things, and great things do not result from unprincipled people, of any gender. But you're correct, you are not 'a man of priciple', You aren't "of principle" at all. You cannot claim, honestly, to be conservative and not reject Obama and Democrat policies currently. You support what is being done to this nation for no other reason than because the man is black. Those who oppose him, do so because of his policies. You won't admit that truth because you aren't interested in truth. You are interested in manufacturing phony racism, then making a buck off it. It has never been more clear as it is today, where the racism in this nation resides.
Booker Rising response (which was sent to Jeff): And you don't care about center-right principles being promoted in Black America, in Africa, or in Europe's black communities. Which is the focus of my blog: to highlight black moderates, libertarians, moderate-conservatives, and conservatives from around the world. My blog's raison d'etre is pretty clear from the jump. If you don't like it, you are perfectly free to peruse other blogs.
If you were a reader of my blog, you'd know that I (1) consider myself a moderate-conservative (libertarian, if anything); and (2) I personally did not vote for Barack Obama for president, nor do I support most of his policies. What the hell are you talking about here? Nevertheless, my blog features posts from people who voted against (mostly against, which you'd know if you actually read my blog) and for President Obama. It features people who are moderate or conservative Republicans, Democrats, and independents. It also features people in Europe and Africa who are members of center-right parties in their respective countries. Unlike you, I believe in fostering debate, more specifically debate among the black center-right.
By the way, my blog also features some posts by writers who are not black. E.g., I've put up quite a few posts from Cato Institute scholars and white professors of sociology and economics. I highlight things going on in countries where there are few black people. I even have some regular readers who comment on my blog who are - gasp - white (yes, white and conservative)! You would know that if you actually read my blog.
Either way, my blog will continue to exist and doesn't need your approval, so deal with it!
P.S. Some great moderates in U.S. history: late President Dwight Eisenhower. I guess leading Allied forces in defeating the Nazis in World War II doesn't count as a great thing to you. Former General Colin Powell and former Sen. Edward Brooke are also on this list.
