"Thriller" (1983) was the first video to come to my mind for Halloween. Here is the full video, which is the most successful music video of all time. It is the title cut off his outrageously successful album, Thriller. While not my favorite Michael Jackson video (which is "Beat It"), as a teen, I remember it was an event to watch the "Thriller" video:
"Thriller" won the Best Long Form Video Award at the 1985 Grammy Awards. It won the Viewers Choice Award, Best Choreography Award, and Best Overall Performance In A Video Award at the 1984 MTV Awards. In 1999, MTV honored "Thriller" as the Greatest Music Video Ever Made. Given that Michael Jackson basically put MTV on the map, no wonder.
