Asserts the conservative Republican blogger in New York City: "I must’ve missed the memo because any idiot willing to humiliate themselves by arguing and spewing profanity on somebody else, gets to be a Reality TV star. There’s no need to take one acting class or study film making. Just set aside any pretense of pride, shame, self respect, or dignity and one can become as famous as any of the great actors of the past. All that’s needed is a video camera and a community organizer from Chicago who looks like a president, becomes president. Anybody from a short foul mouthed woman who sleeps with every third guy to an ex-actor nobody remembers gets to be the latest thing in reality TV."
More from Mr. Gonzalez: "So, maybe that’s what James Holmes had in mind when he spent 15,000 dollars on guns and ammunition? Maybe he wanted to be the new latest thing in the world and do something really sick and stupid like the other reality TV stars do? Maybe if TV was like it used to be with professional actors, directors, producers and cameraman who studied their craft for years in 'scripted' forms of entertainment where talent is very much necessary, Holmes would’ve never given mass murder a second thought?"
