Artur Davis Featured In New Pro-Romney Ads

Artur Davis
It's an ad series featuring ex-Obama supporters that is funded by a super PAC. From USA Today, about the moderate-conservative Republican: "Former Obama ally Artur Davis is among the disaffected voters featured in a new ad campaign funded by billionaire Joe Ricketts. The ads, which begin tomorrow in selected swing states, are being paid for by Ending Spending Action Fund. Ricketts, founder of TD Ameritrade, is the super PAC's big donor."

More: "In the new ads, Davis and other former Obama voters explain why they are voting for Mitt Romney. 'This year I'm casting my vote for someone who can fix the problems facing us. That's Mitt Romney,' says Davis, a former Alabama congressman who seconded Obama's nomination at the 2008 Democratic convention. The Davis ad highlights the national health care law derided as 'Obamacare,' which passed Congress without a single Republican vote. The 'Why I Changed My Vote Campaign' also features testimony from Jodi, a lifelong Democrat in Illinois, who says Obama has failed on her main issues of debt and divisiveness. The super PAC says more than 5,000 people have submitted stories of why they're changing their vote to Romney."
