Edward Cousar: "The Black Republican PAC Is Rolling Out Ad Buys So We Can Stop Barack Obama"

Edward Cousar, head of BRPAC
Yesterday, Booker Rising told you about the Black Republican PAC ad running in swing-state Wisconsin right now that is slamming U.S. President Barack Obama for high black unemployment. I voiced skepticism about who was really running the show. Like clockwork, a press release is emailed to me: "The Black Republican Political Action Committee (BRPAC) today announced the launch of a new advertising campaign in Wisconsin highlighting the devastating effect President Barack Obama's policies have had on blacks in America. The television ad, titled 'Stop Barack Obama' will air on multiple television networks in the Milwaukee area. The first ad will begin airing Thursday and feature statistics on unemployment, home foreclosures and food security in black households juxtaposed with clips of Barack Obama telling the Congressional Black Caucus to 'quit complaining.'"

More: "BRPAC Executive Director Edward Cousar said, 'These ads are about showing Americans where President Barack Obama has failed not only America, but disproportionately black Americans on critical issues like job creation and economic security. Voters deserve to know that the policies of the first black President of the United States of America have had a devastating effect on African Americans. His big-government policies have resulted in double-digit black unemployment and made life worse for working black Americans,' continued Cousar."

The ads will run on BET, ESPN, MSNBC, The Oprah Winfrey Network and Oxygen: "'We intend to challenge black voters to answer the question of whether or not they are better off today than they were four years ago,' concluded Cousar. 'By any objective standard, the Obama presidency has been a nightmare for black businesses, working families and faith-based enterprises."
