The conservative Republican blogger in New York argues that conservative pundits aren't supporting Mitt Romney's presidential bid enough: "Earlier in the summer the National Review editorial board wrote a piece urging Mitt Romney to release all the tax records the corrupt media wanted. I couldn’t believe the same magazine founded by William F, Buckley abandoned Mitt Romney and left him on an island. I wrote on this blog that Buckley must’ve been turning over in his grave.
I went ballistic on Rich Lowry, the editor-in-chief, for succumbing to media pressure instead of lending Romney rhetorical support. Unfortunately, these Beltway keystrokers care more about keeping their conservative intelligentsia card even more than defending Republican candidates. It’s a damn shame we have utter wimps like Lowry on our team, but I guess somebody has to keep David Brooks company."
