Of course, bookeristas ain't done talking about the issue, especially now that you can add Yemen to the list along with Egypt and Libya. Although at least in Yemen, security forces fired shots to keep the mob somewhat at bay. Bookeristas opine:
Rep. Allen West: "Obama Is The Neo-Jimmy Carter, With His Message Of Weakness & Appeasement"
Asserts the conservative Republican Congressman from Florida (see video of his statement on the "Fox & Friends" show here): "'Just because someone puts a Facebook video, that’s not the reason for us to lose an ambassador and have our sovereign land attacked,' West continued. 'And we should not take this apologetic stance, which is the reason you have allowed a lot of this to happen.' West went on to add that the President has sent a sense of weakness where foreign policy is concerned, characterizing it as 'shades of what happened during the Carter administration.'"
Duane Brayboy: "Is Obama The Commander-In-Chief, Or The Janitor-In-Chief?
Duane Brayboy, a conservative blogger in Georgia, argues that his supporters treat him like the latter: "With things going completely awry in their land of 'happily ever after' as it relates to the Middle East, once again we see the fan base skipping the fact that Obama has not attended over half of his daily intelligence briefings, reportedly failed to order standard Marine embassy guards during an already posted high alert, made time to speak with radio DJ 'Pimp with a Limp' and go to Vegas, but not the Israeli Prime Minister, not to mention that he has even spent more time on the golf course in 3 1/2 years than the 8 years of his predecessor. Add all of that up and he is STILL considered blameless. After all, it wasn’t his fault that a large crowd of Muslim men killed our ambassador and some of his support staff. Blame the filmakker [sic] who made an anti-Allah film. But for Obama, it’s never his fault. To his fans, he’s just the clean up guy, not the Commander in Chief."
Condoleezza Rice: "I'm Saddened Over Ambassador Christopher Stevens's Death"
The moderate-conservative Republican and former U.S. Secretary of State released a statement on her Facebook page: "I am saddened by the tragic loss of life at our consulate in Benghazi. Ambassador Chris Stevens was a wonderful officer and a terrific diplomat who was dedicated to the cause of freedom. His service in the Middle East throughout his career was legendary. My thoughts and prayers are with the loved ones of all of the fallen. They will be sorely missed but never forgotten."
