Bookeristas didn't care for the liberal journalist's moderation of the recent U.S. vice presidential debate:
Kenneth Durden, a libertarian-conservative blogger, opines: "Martha Radd[a]tz was useless and proved that people who were worried about
her friendship with Barack Obama [as he attended her wedding] had reason to be concerned. Why
Republicans continue to participate in debates with useless hack
reporters as moderators is beyond me. Democrats would never would not
participate in a debate moderated by someone like Neil Cavuto [of Fox News Channel]."
Crystal Wright, a conservative Republican blogger in D.C., writes about the debate: "ABC News moderator Martha Raddatz came to [Vice President Joe] Biden’s defense throughout,
allowing Biden to continually interrupt [Rep. Paul] Ryan with fits of frustration
and asides like a fool in one of Shakespeare’s comedies. Every time Ryan
pointed out Obama’s failures over the last four years, Raddatz would
interrupt him, asking, 'What would you do differently.' She never asked
Biden that."
