|Chamique Holdsclaw, in better days|
Oh, he ain't done just yet about the former Olympic medalist: "Too bad for Holdsclaw, the WNBA No. 1 draft pick in 1999, had no idea what she was up against as she would go on to play 11 years in a 'professional' league that promotes, fosters and caters to lesbianism (which could be the reason why she still suffered from bouts of depression throughout her career), eventually develop a sexual relationship with another woman and attempt to kill her 'ex-girlfriend' 4 years later in a fit of rage and jealousy. In other words, thanks to the brutal exploitation of morally bankrupt, white, social liberals, Chamique Holdsclaw never had a chance to live a normal life..."
Booker Rising response: Come on, GG. Your argument falsely assumes that Holdsclaw has no personal responsibility for her situation. Her sexual orientation is on her (whether genetic, environmental, or a combo), not the WNBA. I’d bet money that Chamique was a lesbian / bisexual woman long before joining the WNBA...or even her college days. Holdsclaw hasn't been employed by the WNBA in three or four years. The WNBA nor white liberals didn't force Holdsclaw to put gas in her ex-girlfriend’s backseat. They didn't tell her to pull out a bat and break her ex’s car windows. They didn't put the gun in her hands, and force her to try to shoot at the gas in the backseat to blow ol’ girl up. You’re allowing homophobia and ideological partisanship to cloud your judgment here.
