Petitions from all 50 states have now been filed. Bookeristas weigh in on this post-election scenario:
Nadra Enzi: "Secession 2.0 Is About Reality, Not Racism"
The moderate-conservative Republican blogger in Louisiana argues that it's the former situation: "Secession 2.0 may be anti-Black liberal but it's also anti-liberalism period- regardless of packaging.
Those articulating this view correctly feel government is poised to control Americans through Obamacare. Whenever DC can fine you for not insuring your God-given body - that's oppression!
When this measure forces religious based healthcare providers to comply with policies contrary to their beliefs - that's oppression!
When a foreign policy is pursued that favors murderers and dictators to the exclusion of supporting long time ally, Israel - that's oppression!
When Black voters defiantly vote for the president because of color alone and through proxies, this chief executive encourages it - that's oppression. Far from a hate fest, Secession 2.0 is about love: love of country; love of traditional values; love of an evolving universal identity called American that anyone of any color; class or creed can become."
Samuel Gonzalez: "It's Because Obama Is Divisive"
The conservative Republican blogger in New York opines about the petitions:
"I’m sure the half of the country that voted for President Obama
doesn’t give a rip about the half that didn’t. However, President Obama
better understand that he leads a divided nation. His number one job
should be to heal the divide.
But, being the narcissist that he is, I think Obama doesn’t really care
about the 59 million who didn’t vote for him anymore than he was happy
to shove ObamaCare down America’s throat on a party line basis."
