From theGrio, about this racist nonsense: "An anti-Obama Kentucky man remains defiant in the face of criticism that his effigy of the president eating a watermelon is racist and offensive. 'The way I look at it, it’s freedom of speech,' said Casey County’s Danny Hafley said in an interview with Lex 18."
The article continues about this foolish homeowner: "Hafley calls his display, which is on his front yard, 'popular,' and when pressed about why a watermelon is included in the scene, he quipped that the fake Obama, 'might get hungry standing out here.'"
Booker Rising response: Yeah, it's freedom of speech. However, that doesn't mean that the display ain't racist and shouldn't be called out.
