Obama ain't the savior of gun violence victims in Chicago

DarkStar, a moderate-conservative blogger in Maryland, writes: "Why is there a focus, by some, on getting President Obama to say more about the violence in Chicago? Besides the political ploy, I see the point but I know they know President Obama can't cause any change to happen."

DarkStar continues his commentary about expecations upon the president: "So called Black leaders have been pushing for the violence to end since I was a teenager. It hasn't happened yet. President Obama chastised the Black men who aren't staying around for their children, but no change has happened because of what he said. So, why is it on him and not on local people?"
