Asserts the moderate Democratic blogger: "Eight senators — four Democrats and four Republicans — have announced a framework for a immigration reform. After four years of a failed alliance with the Tea Party and their policy of 'no government,' I am delighted to see the Republicans rejoin the government."

Booker Rising response: This "good news" is bad for black folks. "Immigration reform" doesn't mean enforcing our borders. It means rewarding illegal immigrants for criminal activity (i.e., special rights) to pander to Hispanic voters, at the expense of black workers who'll be disproportionately displaced by this "reform". If black folks have to follow the law, other groups should have to as well.
