| Lindiwe Mazibuko: "How is demanding leaders be accountable for educating black kids supporting apartheid?" |
Yet another union doesn't like the moderate-liberal parliamentarian's insistence that South African President Jacob Zuma be held accountable for spending US$23 million in taxpayer dollars to upgrade his personal mansion while tens of thousands of poor black kids in the surrounding area can't even go to school. From The New Age (South Africa): "The East London South African Unemployed Workers Union (Sauwu) has
called on DA [Democratic Alliance] parliamentary leader Lindiwe Mazibuko to respect President
Jacob Zuma. The union said it has observed 'for quite a long time' that
Zuma had been insulted by opposition parties. 'We are calling on opposition parties to stop humiliating President
Jacob Zuma. This comes after utterances made by several opposition
parties, in particular the DA and IFP. We are telling these parties that if they continue insulting the
dignity of President Zuma, they will open wounds caused by the apartheid
government,' the union’s president Jabu Ntusi said."
More: "Ntusi said: 'We are not going to tolerate such behaviour of
ill-disciplined, spoilt brat children like Lindiwe Mazibuko, who doesn’t
respect elders. The Sauwu is (Siyamkhuza uza(ku)limala-we are warning
her, she will get into trouble).' Ntusi said they were aware 'of the apartheid monsters within the DA
using black people like Nosima Balindlela and Mazibuko to mislead poor
people'."
